Jesus said, “when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak; and he will shew you things to come” (John 16:13 KJV).
“What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops” (Matt. 10:27 KJV).
I was a Louisiana youth organizer for over ten years, and later taught and ministered six years in Missouri. In Seattle for eleven years, I worked as a full-time teacher and daycare teacher in private and public elementary and middle schools. These jobs and working in a daycare too offered me ample opportunities to seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit. And as well, I became a licensed trauma-informed foster parent. I am honored to continue as a remote Associate Pastor-at-Large of a protestant evangelical church and to have finished my Master of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling in 2023 from Liberty University. We moved to be closer to my family and for my husband to attend the Dallas Theological Seminary.
This blog is a place to share about God’s goodness. I want others to be blessed and encouraged. I cannot determine what God may need me to share, but I hope that those who read this blog can learn more about theology, equity, family, hope, miracles, and grace.
